While you are there, step inside the Pickled Peacock for a lovely lunch. Cairn O' Mohr is a short distance from Fingask Castle (8-min drive).

Huntingtower Castle
This 16th-century castle is where Mary Queen of Scots and her new husband Lord Darnley stayed during the Chaseabout Raid. This is a fairly intact castle which you can visit from the inside. Huntingtower once known as Ruthven Castle is situated just off the A9 and only a 13-min drive from Perth.
