Since the wedding is at the end of August, pre-booking your accommodations early will help avoid disappointment. To ensure you have a smooth journey, we recommend taxis or hiring a car, as the castle is in a private glen; local services are reliable but busy during the summer season. Please be aware that local services do not run every hour!
When arriving by car, you’ll find clear directions at the top of the drive, with ample parking available for guests.

Buses are located 100 meters away from the train station. Service 51 runs on limited days (typically Tuesdays and Thursdays, with early-morning and afternoon services only).

Step off at the Road End bus stop (near Rait / Fingask) on the main road.

Travel Time: Between 30 min and 1 hour 20 depending on the time of day.

The Final Stretch: The bus drops you at the end of the road. From the "Road End" stop, you will need to walk about 1 to 1.5 miles uphill along the country lane to reach Fingask Castle itself.
